Kathmandu, December 12

The police shot and arrested a meth dealer in Lalitpur on Tuesday.

A team of officials from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office arrested Abinash Rai from Jhamsikhel in Lalitpur shooting him in the right leg.

According to SP Rabindra Regmi, the police opened fire after Rai attacked the police personnel. Rai has been taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police seized methamphetamine and a pistol from him.

Earlier, on November 1, the police opened fire to catch a drug dealer in Gothatar.
